Biscuits and Gravy Casserole Recipe

1 large can flaky biscuits (like Pillsbury Grands©)
½ lb. ground breakfast sausage
3 tbsp. flour
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp black pepper
2½ c. milk



*I usually double and make in a 9X13 inch baking pan.

Pre-heat oven to 400º.
Spray a 7"X10" casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside
Cut biscuits into fourths. Layer half of the quarters in casserole dish.
Bake 10 min.
Meanwhile, brown sausage until cooked. Sprinkle with 3tbsp. flour. Stir until flour is completely absorbed.
Lower heat to medium and cook mixture for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add milk and continue to stir.
Add salt and pepper.
Stir and cook until mixture begins to boil.
Pour gravy over biscuits in casserole. Layer remailing biscuits over gravy.
Place casserole on baking sheet and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
If the casserole starts to over brown, cover with foil for the last 10 minutes or so.
