5 tbsp. Flour
1 c Milk
1 c Granulated Sugar
6 tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
c butter or margerine

Directions:
Directions:
(put flour in pot and while stirring gradually add the milk slowly, this should keep mixture smooth)
Cook flour and milk, stirring constantly until thick. Let cool completely.

In a bowl, cream together crisco, butter, sugar, vanilla and salt.

Add flour and milk mixture a little at a time and whip until light and fluffly. The longer, the better.
