Ingredients:  
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chopped dates
2 cups rice krispies
2 teaspoons vanilla
coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, remove from heat, stir in the sugar and eggs until blended well. Add the dates and boil 8 minutes, stirring often. ( The mixture will be very thick and sticky. Remove from heat and add nuts, rice krispies and vanilla. Stir until well blended, drop balls into the coconut. ( Really pretty when coconut is dyed for the holidays). Place on waxed paper until firm. Freezes well.
