1 lb Navy Beans
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 lb of bacon
salt

Bean Juice
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons of Molasses
1 Tablespoon Dark Karo syrup
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1 cup brown sugar
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
in pan place beans & cover with water, bring to boil. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. pour off all water & add fresh cold water, add a little salt & cut up pieces of bacon. Cook beans slowly till almost done. Put beans in cooker. Mix bean juice ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste, pour bean juice over beans. Bake 2 hours at 350 Degrees.
