1 lb. shredded cabbage
5 carrots, sliced
3 onions, diced
2 (16 oz. each) cans whole tomatoes
2 quarts (64 oz. total) tomato juice
1 celery, diced
2 T. onion soup mix, dissolved in 2 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a large pot. Add water to cover an inch above the vegetables. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a low flame. Allow to simmer for 2 to 2 hours.
