2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup currants
1-1/4 cup heavy cream.

3 Tbsp. Melted Butter
2 Tbsp. Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together first 4 ingredients.
Add currants and heavy cream to dry mix.
Flour board; kneed mixture 7/8 times to bring together.
Pat into a pie shape.
Score into about 8 pieces.
Place individual scones on foiled wrapped cookie sheet.
Brush with 3 Tbsp. melted butter.
Brush tops and sides.
Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. sugar.
Bake at 425º for 15 minutes.
