8 bacon strips
2 lb. round steak
2 cans mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 pint stewed tomatoes
cup chopped onions
2 tsp tarragon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large ovenproof skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove, cool, crumble and set aside. Discard all but cup bacon drippings. Brown steaks on both sides in drippings. Top meat with mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with tarragon and bacon bits. Bake at 325 for 1-1 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes or cooked noodles.
