1 1?4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 stick of butter/margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp soda
ICING:
1 stick of butter/margarine
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
Directions:
Directions:
Let first 3 ingredients stand for 20 minutes.
Then add the remaining ingredients & mix well by hand
Bake in loaf pan for 40 minutes at 350º

Mix all icing ingredients together & bring to a rolling boil.

Pour over baked cake - place under broiler for a few minutes just to toast coconut
