1 c dark brown sugar

3 slices bread

1 c raisins

2 Tbsp. butter

2 c mIlk

3 eggs

⅛ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put brown sugar in double boiler . Butter bread, using 2Tbsp. of butter for all 3 slices of bread. Dice the bread and put over the brown sugar. Add raisins

Beat eggs, milk, salt and vanilla. Pour over the bread. Do not stir. Place over simmering water and cook for 1 hour. The brown sugar will form a sauce .

Serve warm or cold . Turn onto serving plate to serve.
