Ingredients:  
1 pound of cabbage
1 pound of potatoes
1 small onion (yellow or white)
salt & pepper
1 cup cream
4 oz butter
top with rashers* of bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Chop & boil cabbage until just soft. Peel, cook & mash the potatoes. Peel & finely chop the onion & cook in the cream. Beat the onion & cream into the potatoes. Beat/Stir the cabbage into the potatoe mixture & serve with a knob of butter and a couple of rashers (slices/strips) of fried bacon.
