4 tender beef steaks
1/4 c butter
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic peeled
1 1/4 c canned tomatoes chopped
1/4 tsp oregano
1 small can mushrooms
1 green pepper
4 slices mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In large fry pan cook steaks to preference. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Keep warm. In pan drippings cook garlic until golden. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, mushrooms and green pepper. Cook until heated through and vegetables are tender. Place steaks on oven proof plates and top with vegetables and sauce. Top each with a slice of cheese. Place in broiler briefly, just until cheese begins to melt. Serve hot.
