6-8 tart apples (6 cups)
3/4 - 1 cup sugar
2 T. all purpose flour
1/2 - 1 t. ground cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg
Pastry for 2-crust 9" pie
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Coat apples with sugar mixture. Dot butter over apples. Seal with crust. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 50 min at 400.
