14 oz. caramels
1/2 c evaporated milk
1/4 c margarine
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 c chopped nuts
1 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt in double boiler or microwave:
14 oz caramels, 1/2 c evaporated milk, 1/4 c margarine

Mix together:
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c margarine
1/2 c evaporated milk

Grease 9 x 13 pan. Spread 1/2 cake mixture in pan.

Bake 7 minutes at 350. Remove from oven and spread with caramel mixture

Sprinkle with:
1 c chopped nuts
1 c chocolate chips

Spread remaining cake mixture on top. Bake 15 minutes. The cake will not test or look done.
Let set. Few hours before serving.
