Ingredients:  
4 cups thinly sliced onion
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
8 beef bouillon cubes
6 slices of French bread
1 garlic clove minced
6 cups water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
6 slices of swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, melt butter & sauté onions & garlic. Add water bouillon, & Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boil. reduce heat. cover & simmer an additional 30 minutes. Ladle soup into oven proof bowls. Lay a slice of bread & top with cheese on to each bowl. broil till cheese melts.
