Holiday Orange Pumpkin Bread Recipe

In a large bowl mix:
2 cups mashed pumpkin (can use canned pumpkin)
1 cup orange juice
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1 TBSP nutmeg
1TBSP cinnamon

Add 1/2 cup at a time the following:
3 and 1/2 to 4 cups of flour

Finally add:
1 cup nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 cup dates (could substitute raisins)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour into 2 greased 9x5 loaf pans. Bake at 350 for one hour or until cake tester comes out clean. Let sit in pans for 5 minutes. Then turn out onto cake rack to cool.
