1 & 1/2 TBSP cornstarch
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup hot water

2 TBSP butter
1/4 cup concentrated frozen orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the cornstarch, sugar, and water on medium heat until it becomes transparent and thickened - maybe 3-5 minutes. Take off the heat and add the butter and OJ concentrate.

This is a sauce for fruit salad with any combination of fruits. You can half the recipe for a smaller salad for 2-4 people.

I have used this recipe many times and have used the fruit salad as a salad or a dessert with a small scoop of sherbet ice cream. Shirley, a friend, attributed the sauce to Janie and while I don't remember who Janie is, I have enjoyed her sauce many times over the years.
