1 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups very warm tap water
5 1/2 cups bread flour

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the 1 cup reserved starter with the sugar, salt, oil, water and flour. Mix with a fork until you have a stiff batter, then lightly dust a flat surgace with flour and knead dough 15 times.
Grease a large bowl and place dough in bowl. Coat top of dough with cooking spray, or turn dough in bowl to coat with oil. Cover bowl with a dinner plate and place in cold oven overnight.
The next morning, punch down dough and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 5 times. Divide dough into 2 or 3 equar portions, Knead each portion 10 times. Place each portion in a greased loaf pan. Brush tops of dough with oil.
Place loaf pans on a cookie sheet, cover with wax paper and let rise in a cold oven 4 to 5 hours.OR until doubled in bulk.
Bake loaves at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or untiltops are golden grown. Remove from pans and let cool on wire racks.
