1sm carrot, peeled and grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 sm. onion,grated
3T.quick oats
5T. milk
1t. worchesteshire sauce
1/2t. salt
1/2t. white pepper
1/2 lb. grd. beef
2 med. potatoes,peeled and cubed
1/4c. panko bread crumbs, lightly toasted

1. In bowl , combine carrot, garlic,onion,oats,2T.milk,worchestershire sauce and half each of the salt and pepper. and beef: mix well. shape into two patties,each 1" thick.
2. Place patties and greased grill over med. heat, closelid and grill, turning once, until digital thermometer inserted sideways into center reads 160ºF.for 12-14 min.
3. Meanwhile, in sm. saucepan of boiling water salted,cover and cook potatoes until fork tender, about 15 min. Drain; mash potatoes until smooth. Stir in remaining milk, salt and pepper.
4. Place one patty on a serving plate,spread3/4 c. mashed potatoes overtop and sides of "cake". Press panko into sides of cake.
