3/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups oatmeal
1-1/4 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/3 cup white corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Spread in a 9 x 13 greased pan.
Bake at 350° for approximately 20 minutes.
Spread with peanut butter while still hot.
Sprinkle on chocolate chips and spread.

I used to spend my summers with my aunt and uncle - Mike and Margo. My cousins Bryan, Jill and Joel would also be there. We would help with chores and show cattle for them. Jill and I made these bars many, many times over the years.
