1 gallon glass jar with cover
3 pounds of plums
3 pounds of sugar
1 fifth of gin

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash and pierce each plum with a fork, 6-8 times.
2. Place in a gallon jar and add sugar and gin.
3. Cover and set aside.
4. Each day turn the jar gently a few times to dissolve the sugar. DO NOT SHAKE THE JAR!
5. Cordial made in September will be excellent by Thanksgiving.
6. When only the pulp remains, remove the plum seeds and use pulp as an ice cream topping!
(You may become a little tipsy...Hee, Hee, Hee!)
