5 Medium onions
1½ Tsp. flour
3 Tbsp. butter
4 cans beef bouillon
½ Tsp. salt
½ Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
¼ Tsp. pepper
4 slices of French bread
4 slices gruyere cheese

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325º
Slowly cook onions in butter, about 30 minutes
Stir in flour and cook 1 minute
Add bouillon and seasonings. Boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes
Pour into individual dishes
Place bread under broiler and brown 1 side, 1-2 minutes
Place cheese on browned side of bread and put on soup
Bake until cheese bubbles, about 30 minutes
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving
