1 and 1/2 pounds shaved ham
1 pound grated Swiss cheese
12 slices of day old bread, without crusts
butter
4 eggs
2 Tablespoons dry mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2-3 dashes onion salt
1 teaspoon Beau Monde spice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Butter a 9-inch x 13-inch casserole pan.
2. Butter both sides of bread; put 6 slices in bottom of casserole.
3. Place half of ham over bread and sprinkle with half of cheese.
4. Repeat with remaining six bread slices, ham and cheese.
5. Combine milk, eggs, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion salt and Beau Monde spice.
6. Pour this mixture over casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
7. In morning, preheat oven to 325 F.
8..Take casserole out of refrigerator and uncover.
9. Bake for 60 minutes.
10. Let set for 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
