Ingredients: CRUST: 8 oz. pretzels, crushed 3 Tablespoons sugar 1½ sticks BUTTER (¾ cup)
CHEESE FILLING 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened ¾ cup sugar 1 8-oz. carton of frozen whipped topping (thawed)
STRAWBERRY FILLING: 1 6-oz. pkg strawberry Jello 1 16-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries 2 cups boiling water

Directions:CRUST: 1. Preheat oven to 350 º F. 2. Crush pretzels (or use food processor); 3. Beat butter and 3 Tablespoons sugar; add crushed pretzels. 4. Press into a 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan. 5. Bake at 350º F. for 10 minutes; Cool.
CHEESE FILLING: 6. Blend in a bowl, cream cheese, sugar and ½ carton of whipped topping. 7. Spread over cooled crust; Refrigerate.
STRAWBERRY FILLING: 8. Bring 2 cups of water to boiling point. 9. Dissolve Jello in boiling water, stirring well. 10. Stir in frozen strawberries; 11. Continue to stir until mixture is soft-set. 12. Spread over chilled cheese mixture in pan and refrigerate until serving time. At serving time, cover with remaining whipped topping. |
