1 box (16 oz.) vanilla pudding and pie filling, NOT instant
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 egg
1 can Pet milk
1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
baked pie crust shell
Cool Whip (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine pudding & pie filling, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, egg, milk and sweet potatoes; cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full bubbling boil; remove from heat.
Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice.
Pour mixture into baked pie crust.
Chill 4 hours before serving.
Tastes great with Cool Whip on top as garnish.
