Ingredients:  
1/2 cup warm beer
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
Stir in:
1 1/2 cups lukewarm beer
1/2 cup soft lard or shortening
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
2 tsps. salt
Half of 7 to 7 1/2 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix with spoon until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to handle easily. Knead until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl, greased side up. Cover with a damp cloth. Let rise in warm place until doubled (1 1/2 hours).
Punch down, let rise again (about 30 minutes) Form into rolls and bake 400 degrees F 12 to 15 minutes
