1/4 c. crushed pecans
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 T. water
1 c. chocolate chips

Note: This recipe can be multiplied.

Directions:
Directions:
Spread the crushed pecans in the bottom of an 8" square pan.
In a skillet, combine the butter, sugar and water; stir over medium heat until the mixture becomes a dark caramel color; pour it over the pecans.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them melt; spread the melted chips into the pan using the back of a spoon or a small spatula.
Refrigerate until set; break into chunks.
