1 c. butter, softened
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2¾© all-purpose flour
⅓ c. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350º

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each addition.

Combine flour and cinnamon, gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out to ¼inch thickness. Using 2½ inch cooking cutter dipped in flour, cut out shapes. Place cut out shapes on ungreased cookie pan or baking sheet.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are firm and the bottom of cookies lightly browned. After five minutes move the cookies to a wire cooling rack to complete cooling process.
