6 cups thin potato slices
2 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 cup green onion slices (or diced onions)
2 cups shredded cheese (8 oz)
1-1/2 cups fresh bread cubes
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange potatoes in greased 11-3/4 x 7-1/2" baking dish. Make a white sauce with margarine, flour, milk and seasoning. Add onions and cheese, stir until cheese melts. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes. Cover with aluminum foil; bake at 350º / hr.

Remove foil; top potatoes with bread cubes combined with margarine and cheese. Continue baking for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
