4. Pour over crust, chill until firm.
5. Top with pie filling and refrigerate until serving.

Shortcut Method:

2 Ready Made Graham Crusts
2 Thawed Tubs of 8 oz. Cool Whip
2 (8 oz.) pkg Softened Cream Cheese
C. Powdered Sugar
2 Cans Pie Filling

1. Blend cream cheese and and powdered sugar together until creamy.
2. Add cool whip to cream cheese mixture blending well.
3. Spoon filling into graham crusts.

This recipe can be adjusted to use fresh fruit, candy bits, assorted ice cream topping etc. Also any type of pie filling is good. This method always comes out firm unlike the Dream Whip recipe which can be soft & messy to serve..

Personal Notes:
This has been a family favorite since I first made it in the mid 70's! Mom's sample piece has been a standing family joke!
