Sift together:
1 2/3 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Pecan halves broken into pieces

1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup cream

1 cup sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and gradually add brown sugar. Blend in unbeaten egg, 1 tsp vanilla.
Mix well and add dry ingredients
Dip by rounded teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes

Break pecan halves in about 2-4 pieces. Place 4-5 pieces on each cookie, drizzle with 1 tsp frosting

Praline Frosting
Combine in small sauce pan, 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar, add 1/2 cup cream. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Blend in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar.

Beat until smooth
