1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:
heat oven to 325º
mix dry ingredients and set aside

cream butter and sugars
add egg and beat til fluffy
add dry ingredients and mix just until incorporated

place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes or until just getting golden and appear done
