SALAD
1 heads Iceberg, chopped
1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pepper (red or green)
1/4 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
1 bag (10-ounce frozen peas, partially thawed

DRESSING
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp sugar
1 pkt. Hidden Valley ranch

In a clear glass bowl, layer salad ingredients in the order they appear above, concentrating ingredients around the perimeter of the bowl and filling the center with lettuce. End with the layer of peas

Combine dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well. Pour over the top of the peas and spread to cover, bringing the dressing all the way to the edges of the bowl Sprinkle with the sugar Cover and chill 8 hours.
