2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
4 lg or 6 sm eggs
1-1/2 cups oil
2 cups grated carrots
2 tsp baking powder

ICING:

1 small pkg cream cheese
1 cube margarine
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts

Directions:

Grease 9x13 oblong pan.

Mix all dry ingredients and sift well.

Beat eggs and oil together.

Add to dry ingredients and mix well.

Add carrots last and mix.

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Cool before icing.

ICING:

Cream cheese and butter. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth and creamy.

Frost cake.
