4 medium sweet potatoes
2 eggs
½ c. brown sugar (divided)
6 tbsp. melted butter (divided)
1 tsp. salt
pecan halves

Orange Sauce:
⅓ c. sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
⅛ tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
3 dashes angostura bitters.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes until tender, peel and mash in large bowl.
Beat in eggs, ¼ c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter and salt.
Put into 1 quart casserole, arrange pecan halves on top.
Sprinkle with ¼ c. brown sugar and drizzle with ¼ c. melted butter.
Bake uncovered in 375º oven for 20 minutes.

Orange Sauce:
Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add grated orange peel, orange juice and lemon juice.
Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, stir in butter and angostura bitters.
Serve over warm potatoes.
