Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. brown sugar, divided
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
c. milk
c. white sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. butter
c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dates, 1 c. brown sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk together.
Pour into 9'X9"X2" baking dish.
Mix together (in the bowl the date mixture was mixed in) c. brown sugar, white sugar, boiling water and butter.
Pour over batter.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake in 350 oven.

Very good & very rich!
