1 15-ounce can sliced red beets, drained, juice reserved
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6-8 whole cloves
Juice from red beets
6 hard cooked eggs, shelled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all but eggs & beets in a pan & bring to a boil. Simmer 1 minute. Place sliced beets & whole eggs into a large covered bowl & pour mixture over them. Seal tightly & store in refrigerator for at least 2 days before serving. Stir eggs & beets several times daily while they are marinating.
