1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels
1 c. chocolate chips (6 oz. package)
1 c. evaporated milk, divided
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together cake mix as directed on box; add 3/4 c. butter and 2/3 c. evaporated milk. Pour half of batter in 9X13 pan and bake for 10-15 minutes in 350º oven. While baking, melt caramels and remaining 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Remove cake and pour caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over caramel. Pour remaining cake batter over. Bake for 20 minutes.
