1 Roll of Buttermilk Biscuits
1 1lb package of breakfast sausage (med or hot)
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
3-4 tsp black pepper (to taste)

Unwrap biscuits and bake according to directions.

Brown breakfast sausage over medium heat. Be sure to keep the grease on the sausage.
While browning meat, add mix milk, flour, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Whisk together until well blended and has lots of air bubbles.

Slowly add milk mix to cooked sausage, whisking constantly. Bring back to a slow boil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until gravy is desired thickness. (usually 10 min over med heat)

Open biscuits and add gravy.

If gravy is too thick, or too floury add more milk until desired consistency. Add more salt and pepper while simmering to taste.
