1 lb. ground chuck
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. rice
1 bag sauerkraut, squeezed not rinsed
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
½ packet onion soup mix
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Bring rice to boil. Turn off burner and let sit on stove.

Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, soup mix, salt & pepper together in bowl. Form into large balls.

Layer sauerkraut in pan and top with meat balls. Add a layer of sauerkraut on top. (DO NOT RINSE SAUERKRAUT. JUST SQUEEZE OUT WATER.)

Bring to a boil on stove. Turn down to low and cook for 2 hours.

This will bring you luck for the New Year!
