Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Orange Mixture:
1½ cups butter
1½ cups sugar
Grated rind of 4 large oranges
1 large lemon, juiced

Mix all ingredients together, either the night before or before you start making the rolls, to allow time for flavors to blend.

Rolls:
1 cup milk
1 cube butter
3 eggs, well beaten
4 cups flour
2 yeast cakes
1 tsp salt
½ cup sugar

Scald milk, add butter and cool. When lukewarm, add yeast and salt. Beat eggs well; add sugar.
Combine egg mixture with yeast mixture; add one cup flour. Mix well and let rise for 2 hours.
Add the remainder of flour; let raise two more hours. Do not knead.

Divide dough in two parts and roll out on floured board, about ¼ to ½-inches thick. Spread with
Orange Mixture and rollup as for cinnamon rolls, pinching edge to seal it. Cut in 1-inch thick slices;
let rise until double in size. Bake in 350º oven. (No time is listed, but it's probably between 15 to
20 minutes.)

Directions:
Directions:
Glaze:
Zest and juice of 2 oranges
4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
Dash of salt
½ cup whole milk, more if needed for a pourable consistency
4 Tbsp butter, melted

Add orange zest and juice to a bowl. Mix in powered sugar and salt. Add milk, then melted butter. Whisk together until smooth. When rolls are removed from the oven, immediately drizzle with icing so that glaze seeps into all crevices. Serve warm.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Susy: A handwritten recipe from my mom's binder, but it's not her handwriting. It might be Grandma Sybil's handwriting. No glaze instructions were included, so I added a glaze recipe from the Internet.
