2 lbs ground chuck
2 green bell peppers, diced
1 small onion, diced
Garlic to taste
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
32 oz beef broth
1 cup water
2 Tbsp. Packed brown sugar
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
4 cups cooked rice
Shredded cheese if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat in pan, drain.
Stir all ingredients in slow-cooker, except for rice and cheese.
Cover, cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours.
30 minutes before serving add cooked rice.
Cover and continue to cook for 30 minutes.
Serve soup topped with cheese, if desired.
