Sausage Gravy Recipe

1 - 2 lb. Ground Sausage
C. Flour
Gallon Milk (more as needed)
2 Tbsp. Butter
C. Vegetable Oil

1. Cook sausage until no longer pink & crumble.
2. Add vegetable oil to the browned sausage.
3. Add flour to the meat mixing well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring to prevent burning.
4. Slowly add milk, stirring into mixture until the gravy reaches the consistency you want.
5. Continue to simmer about 15 minutes.
6. Add Salt and pepper to your taste.
7. Before serving add the butter and stir until melted and creamy.
8. Serve over warm biscuits.
