5 c. flour (I use only 4)
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Add dissolved yeast and buttermilk. Roll out, stack or fold, dotting with butter.
Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
