Glazed Pinwheel Cookies Recipe

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. soda
tsp salt
c. crushed pineapple, reserving liquid for glaze
c. oleo, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar for glaze

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Drain pineapple thoroughly, reserving the syrup.
Beat oleo and brown sugar until creamy.
Beat in egg, then drained pineapple and vanilla.
Stir in flour mixture.
Drop batter from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet, about 2" apart.
Bake 18-20 minutes in 325 oven or until golden brown.
Remove from pans, cool then spread glaze over the tops of each cookie.

To make glaze stir 2 tbsp. reserved pineapple syrup into 1 c. powdered sugar until smooth.
