1T olive oil, minced ginger, red curry powder
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp allspice, pepper
1/2 tsp salt

combine all

1 lb short ribs
1 cinnamon stick
1 large onion
1 can low sodium beef broth

Directions:

rub combined ingredients on ribs

Put ribs and other ingredients in a slow cooker on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 7 hours.

Remove lid and skim off fat. Cook on high until sauce thickens.

If sauce does not thicken, pour into a skillet and cook down.

I added 2T Splenda for a sweeter taste.
