1 quart fresh strawberries
Clear gel glaze package*

Directions:
Directions:
Cut into bite size pieces. Add ½ cup sugar and let stand for 2 hours.

Drain strawberries in sieve to remove juice into a pot. Bring juice to boil and then add strawberries, add another ½ cup sugar. Use one package of glaze per cake. Put into strawberry mixture to thicken – cook for one minute and let stand for 5 minutes. Then pour onto cake base.

Option: Can be served with whipping cream.
