Chocolate Cake Recipe

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup canola oil
1 cup milk
1 cup coffee
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 325. Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add oil, milk and coffee; mix at medium speed 1 minute. Add eggs and vanilla; beat two minutes longer. (batter will be thin)

Pour into two greased and floured 9" round cake pans.

Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Cool completely on wire racks.

Frost with Beth's frosting. (see recipe)
