2 teaspoons Caldo de Pollo
8 oz tomato sauce (canned)
1 c. Mahatma rice
5 cans of water (using the tomato sauce can)
1 Tablespoon of oil


Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oil in a saucepan on the stove on medium high heat. When the oil is hot (about 1-2 minutes), add the rice. Stir until it is thoroughly golden brown. This might take a few minutes. Next, add the tomato sauce and the 5 cans of water (use the tomato can). Cook the rice with no lid. You will know when the rice is done when the water is absorbed, approximately 20 minutes (maybe longer). Then cover and let sit for about 10 minutes.
