Ingredients:  
1/2 c shortening or margarine
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 c flour
1 c oatmeal
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Chocolate chips
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars, mix in egg. Add rest of the ingredients. Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 10-12 minutes. Cool 1/2 minute before removing from pan
