1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. ground turkey or beef
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 cup red wine (Cabernet)
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onions and garlic. Add salt and pepper. Drain the meat if greasy. Add Italian seasoning and stir, then add other ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add to your favorite prepared penne, spaghetti or ravioli pasta!
